When I was in math I had the most difficult time learning my times tables. I found that flash cards helped me the most. Using repetition in learning math seemed to be the answer. Of course, when I learned math, there was no such thing as learning on the computer. However, now we have great programs for learning online.

Learning Games for Kids has a whole page of online flash cards for learning your math skills. There are flash cards for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. So no matter what area you need practice in, they can provide some support. Remember that repetition is the best remedy when it comes to math. So keep practicing!

It’s winter time and in many places in the world, we can simply look out our window and see snow. If you get the chance, you may even build a snowman. However, not many snowmen do much more than stand there smiling at us with those charcoal lips and eyes.

At Learning Games for Kids, though, we have a game that takes old Frosty out and about! Our Snowman Skiing game shows you just how nimble your snowman can be! So go ahead and push this snowman down the hill. Don’t forget to pick up branches, pine cones, and carrots to complete your snowman by the end of his journey!

The holiday season couldn’t be complete without a proper Jack Frost, so jump on over to the Snowman Skiing game and try out your hand-eye coordination on this great game!

I remember having to memorize each flag of the world for my geography class when I was in school. That was a difficult assignment. I tried for days to look at each flag and memorize them. It seemed like an overwhelming task. Finally I realized that the best way to remember them all was by using flash cards. I wish back then I had a memory game to help me out also.

Often times, online memory games can be helpful in remembering repetitive information. This World Flags Quiz game allows students to review all the flags of the world. It’s a great resource when studying for a test or exam. The colorful pictures allow students to recall what each flag looks like and match it up with the written name of the country.

Try testing yourself on this great World Flags Quiz today and see how you do. Then let your student brush up or study today!

One of my favorite games when I was kid was the operation room board game. I used to love that buzzer when I accidentally hit the side of the playing board with the tweezers! In the end, I learned how to locate all the parts of the body too. That was a great way to not only have fun, but to learn in the process!

As it turns out, Learning Games for Kids has developed a spin-off of that game called, “Labeling“. This game shows you a picture of the body and asks you to place a label next to each body part. They’ve also included some great sound effects to go along with the game.

Give this great game a try and you’ll be learning the parts of the body quickly too!
